Awesome wheel if you can find one

This is the best wheel I've ever owned. I've owned Thrustmaster wheels up until this purchase, and I fell in love as soon as I took it out of the box. It is about 20lbs in the box, so you can tell right away it's a quality build. Metal plate on the pedal box, where you rest your feet, the pedals themselves are metal with rubber inlays, the shift paddles are metal, the steering wheel is metal wrapped in REAL LEATHER! 6 buttons across the center, and with the included software this can mean up to 13 functions can be bound to the buttons (ok, that's cheating just a bit, in "shift" mode you could then bind the paddles to two extra options, but this may not be well advised as it could cause misshifts while playing a game).

The two twist down mounts hold the unit securely to my desk, and for those of you who want even more bolted down power, there is an included template and third twist down bolt, so that you can bolt THROUGH your desk. That's right, drill a hole and add the optional twistdown screw for even more security.

The unit's force feedback feels extremely good to me, but I can't really compare to much, as I've never had a force feedback wheel before. It doesn't jerk the wheel out of your hands forcing you to lose control, although, I did need about 2 weeks to readjust my way of driving to a force feedback setup. Coming from years of driving with no feedback during game play, took a while to get used to it "acting" like a real car and pulling at your input.

Overall, I suggest if you can pick this wheel up do it. Heck, buy two or three. These are being discontinued, and replaced with a similar wheel, although all the moving parts are no longer metal in the new model. With metal moving parts, this should last you years, and give you great feel for your favorite racing game.
