Keep your eye on the ball

The Bottom Line: Robert Caro is one of the few people who could do his subject justice, and he accomplishes that goal nicely.
Review: The phrase "Keep your eye on the ball" came to mind a lot while reading Robert Caro's massive third portion of his biography of Lyndon B. Johnson, entitled "Master of the Senate." It comes from baseball, where it's a simple instruction for hitting...
