I *think* he can breathe...but I can't see him!

Date of Review:  Jul 27, 2006
The Bottom Line: If you really want the flexibility of a sling, I would try an adjustable ring sling before trying this one. But I personally recommend the stability of a front carrier.
Review: When my son was first born I borrowed a friend's New Native sling to use until I got back to the United States where I could buy my own. By the time I got back to the United States I KNEW I did NOT want a sling - at least not this one.

One...

New Native Baby Carrier (Sling) -- Lets play "whoops, dropped the baby"!

Date of Review:  Apr 22, 2006
The Bottom Line: The bottom line states: But another carrier because New Native's Baby Carrier just doesn't live up to its hype.
Review: I have a new favorite category -- kids and family... can't you tell?

One of the major categories I researched during pre-baby free time was infant carriers. They are perhaps the most useful baby item you can buy -- IF you buy the right...

Very Useful

Date of Review:  Jan 5, 2007
Review: As I have said in other reviews my daughter was a very fussy baby and anything that I could get my hands on to get a free hand I would use. I got this for a baby shower gift and loved it and used it from birth to about 3 months, I didn't find it as...

Can't live without it!

Date of Review:  Jul 16, 2006
The Bottom Line: I could not live without the New Native Carrier. Great for babies AND for older children (though you might need to re-size). Also, excellent for the nursing mom.
Review: I bought the New Native carrier when I was pregnant with my second daughter. I had used a homemade sling with my older daughter and really liked it, but it was a bit big, so I was looking forward to buying one sized for me! I bought the New Native...

Hard and scary to use, felt like baby would fall out

Date of Review:  Nov 11, 2009
Review: The main problem with this carrier is that it is not stretchy or adjustable. It doesn't adjust for mom or baby's size, which means that it can hang lower or looser than you want it to, and you can't pull it tight to make baby feel secure. When baby...
