Poor low-light performance

There is more to hate about this camera than to like about it, especially given the price tag. In short, unless your lighting conditions are superb, you will be disappointed every single time.

I bought this camera in a rush. I thought, oh, it's a Nikon, how bad can it be? I was sorely disappointed. High noise in low light and any ISO setting above 100 (and that's most of the time). Poor definition, even in good conditions - very soft images.

Although it has a metal body, the camera suffered damage on falling about 30 cm...what is the point of a metal body if it provides so little protection?

The catch to access the battery and memory card is very flimsy... you worry every time you touch it whether it'll break.
