Review: Not having much experience with manual SLR cameras, this camera is working out great. It has been easy to use. Very lightweight, easy focus and zoom. All my pictures have turned out fantastic. I have been able to get up close and focus on small...

WOW!!!!

Date of Review:  Dec 11, 2004
Review: The Nikon has an amazing metering system that gives you the perfect lighting every time. The shutter is a bit too loud. This camera has many great lenses that it can be used with.

The Bottom Line: Enter into the world of photography with Nikon's FM 10
Review: Planning to buy a simple single lens reflex camera that is easy to handle plus cheap and affordable?. Well, Nikon FM 10 is your ideal choice. FM 10 of Nikon is the popular choice whole over the world.

Great Camera, only problem is how limited your imagination is.

Date of Review:  Jan 30, 2003
The Bottom Line: Self explanatory, manual $250 dollar camera. Buy good lenses (they will cost more than the camera) and go home happy.
Review: First off, note the price. Around 200-250 dollars. Do not expect this camera to knock your socks off such as a F100 or F5. Get serious here. It's a 100 percent manual camera, just like every other review says. The single best thing is that it...

Nikon FM10 - Not the Best

Date of Review:  Nov 22, 2000
Review: The Nikon FM10 has some good features, but along with some annoyingly frustrating ones. As a photography student, i received this camera as a gift, and sold it 2 months later on ebay. It is not a exactly a bad camera, but not the best either.

everything you need and nothing more...

Date of Review:  Oct 6, 2005
The Bottom Line: The camera delivers where it counts. It's simple to use ( for those who prefer manual photography) and has an awful lot of features for it's price.
Review: If you wonder why companies still make film, then the FM10 is not for you. If you can't live without auto-focus or program mode, then the FM10 is not for you. BUT.......if you actually enjoy using a camera in manual mode, or you prefer a camera that...

You See What You Get

Date of Review:  Nov 29, 2001
The Bottom Line: DIY and get results like a professional.
Review: Out off all the things I wanted this year for Christmas it was the Nikon FM10. I have always preferred manual cameras and for one main reason. What you see is what you get. Unlike other cameras where you can look through the viewfinder, see a great...

Excellent budget all-manual student camera

Date of Review:  Dec 7, 2000
Review: Do you like stick shift autos, do-it-yourself kits, and want to get a hands-on on taking good pictures? This camera may just be for you.

Warning - if you are looking for an SLR to graduate from your all-automatic point and shoot, or think...

Flimsy and cheaply made SRL

Date of Review:  Jun 2, 2000
Review: My experience with this camera is very negative.

My School of Design bought 25 FM10 bodies with 35-70mm lenses and one year later over half are now broken.

The body is made of plastic. Also the 35-70 that comes with the kit is not...

A Low-cost Camera Can Take Beautiful,Sharp Photos!

Date of Review:  Mar 14, 2001
The Bottom Line: If you are more interested in photography than the camera itself, buy the camera.
Review: A low-budget camera,Nikon F10,may not as feature-rich as the top-of-the-line camera such as Canon EOS-1N or a Leica. It is a blessing in disguise. The dearth of features does not put the photographer at a disadvantage. He may make the best use of the...
