My 2nd Maxima and the best yet!

It was October 2005 when I was looking for a car. I was 17. I heard on a local radio station that a guy had an 1989 Nissan Maxima for sale. I checked it out and I loved it! It was the SE with the 5-speed. It was quick, very quick. So I owned that car for a year and I decided to sell her. Someone who owned the car prior to me never washed her in the winter causing it to rust badly. So I finally sold her one cold December day in 2006. It was tough to part out with her. So many memories.

Now fast forwarding to November 2007 I bought another Maxima this time a 1991 Nissan Maxima SE 5-speed. She is cherry and beautiful with the Bose stereo. My 1st weekend driving it we took her from Wisconsin to Tennessee. Wisconsin is where I'm from by the way. The drive through Kentucky and Tennessee was breathtaking with the Nissan. Never any problems that 1st weekend. I've piled 2500 miles on her in the last week. That car is truly a Godsend.

Some history on the Maximas
1989-1991 Maxima SE had 190 HP
1989-1991 Maxima GXE had 160 HP
In 1992 they changed the motors to Dual Overhead cam.
1992-1994 Maxima SE had 190 HP
1992-1994 Maxima GXE had 190 HP also.


These are some state of the art cars that will take you anywhere no problems. I would choose a manual over an automatic. Less maintenance.
