I first purchased the 94 Nissan 2dr 4cyl pickup new from the factory in 94. Overall it did not have that many problems. The first was the clutch which stopped working in 96 in smalltown Georgia on my way from Miami to Atlanta for the olympics. The warranty covered it until XXXX miles (dont quite remember) and i had 120 more that i had accumulated on my trip up. The local dealership did not find my claim valid and i had to pay for it. It was in fact a mechanical fault that casued it to fail. After writing to the national offices, they reimbursed me for it. The next problem was a relay that gave out a few months later. I took the relay to the dealership and the service rep said "like this" and held one up. This lead me to believe that it was a common problem but Nissan did not want to tell the customers. The next issue was the clutch on the AC compressor. It gave out around 70K miles.
