I LOVE MY NISSAN

I love my car! I bought a 1996 Automatic Nissan Sentra GXE and it rocks! My previous car died and I was in a pinch. I went to several different dealerships and researched and narrowed my search to a Saturn or a Nissan. I had wanted a Saturn for a long time, but I did not get the help I wanted and the features and price of the Nissan were better. I have not regretted my decision.

I have had a few problems and it's been a little annoying to deal with getting them fixed, but they are the same that I would find with any used car I believe. Unlike my last car, I NEVER have had to add oil other than when I change the oil. The gas mileage is pretty good, I usually get at least 30-35 miles a gallon (big pro with the price of gas lately). I love the cruise control for my occasional long trips. The adjustable seatbelt thing is really nice. I had a older car before so the Nissan is a major step up.

Some of the things I don't like about my car is that I can't have a dash mat that I like since the air bag compartment is SOOO big, but I'd rather have a safe passenger than a nice dash mat. I sometime wish I had more compartments to store things and the glass holder is nice but when it is open you cannot use the ashtray and the radio buttons are blocked. I wish that it was a stick shift since you have more control over the engine that way, but the OD feature is nice to sort of help with that. I wish the radio had more than 6 programmable stations.

The car is very easy to drive and with power everything, I have been spoiled (what? I have to roll down the window?!?) If you are looking for a reasonably priced car with plenty of features, I would highly recommend the Nissan Sentra GXE. In a couple years when I'm ready for a NEW car I plan on trading it in for another one.
