Wonderful first car :)

I bought my sentra used through a private party in Sept. of 2000. What a buy! I bought it for $5300 with 90,000 miles on it. I've put on 25,000 since then and have been to the shop about 6 times for various things, expected for a car with so many miles on it.

The only problem I have with it is my "service engine soon" light is constantly on. I have had it taken in several times to be taken off and they can't find anything wrong with it. I don't put on even 30 miles before the light is back on in the dash. As long as nothings wrong, no biggy. I'm not happy with the center console storage area. However, it does fit one of those big super sized mcdonalds cups in it. The two cupholders that pull out from the dash are good for soda cans, not much else.

~pros~
Excellent gas mileage. I can get 360 miles to a tank of gas-- a very good thing with gas prices being up. Lots of back seat room and comfortable seats.


One other thing I noticed, is that when you go over 75 on the freeway the side mirrors make a lot of noise and the handeling isn't all that great. I shouldn't be going that fast anyway LOL.
