When Nissan redesigned the Maxima for 2004, little did we know that underneath this Chassis sat a car that most Americans would describe as a dream-car. A far better car than its predecessor(2000-2003).With its graceful styling and powerful 265 HP 3.5L V6 the 2006 Nissan Maxima is an Athlete's dream machine.Most would describe The 2006 Nissan Maxima as the batmobile. This is by far one of the best cars ever owned.

POWER

Lets get right down to the point, The 2006 Nissan Maxima comes equipped with a 3.5L V6 265HP and that engine is very powerful this car is very fast, it gets up to 60 in about 7.1 seconds,if you use premium fuel its gets its butt up there in 6.5 seconds. The ist impression that most people get is that this car is real powerful and that's one of the things people are most impressed with about this generation of the Nissan Maxima.

EXTERIOR

most people know that styling gives off the first impression
of a car and the Maxima yet to speak came gave off its a deep athletic appeal,the front styling and its H.I.D Lights(optional) make the car look as is if needed to be in your garage the minute you saw it. The body style is very sleek and gives the car a strong aggressive cue, The rear tailights are very beautiful and adds to the Maxima's upscale demeanor. Competitors like the Chrysler 300c don't have the deep sex appeal of this Nissan Maxima


INTERIOR-

The large cabin is filled with many features, some which make the Maxima more comfortable to drive. The Volume adjustment found on the steering wheel,The folder mirrors by the push of a button, and the LCD screen in the center console which I found to be really interesting. Interior Volume stands at 103 cubic feet, but it feels must larger, Front seat leg and headroom is grand and feels plentiful for individuals over 6ft tall, Models equipped with sunroofs may wish for more headroom for individuals over 5ft10. Rear seat comfort is grandest with plenty of legroom without a squashed feel. Headroom is excellent no complaints two fit comfortably in the rear and three might be a squeeze but thats for any car in this class.

ROADFEEL

Maxima is upscale and has a smooth composed ride. The SE model has firmer suspension. Those wishing for a softer ride will choose the SL model but may loose the benefits of better handling on the SE. The ride is slick it has 7 series refinement, while some of its competitors have a softer ride the Maxima overall's ride is comparable to a BMW 745LI. An Avalon has the boaty ride of a Cadillac DTS while the Maxima's ride has the slick and smooth feel of a 7 series.  



.the slightest bumps give the cabin a jitter but its nothing to complain about.

HANDLING

This is where the 2006 Maxima demonstrates its true colors,with its agile handling the car can be pushed to the limits in curves with only slight body lean.The SL has softer suspension with means more handling limits then the sporty SE equipped models.
