Oster 6325 2-Slice Toaster

We bought an Oster 6307 toaster that lasted a whopping 2 months before giving up the ghost and toasting only half the bread, burning some, ignoring other slices completely....

I complained to Oster and they sent me a Model 6325 as a replacement for free. Which I thought was cool. Until we tried to use the toaster. The knob goes from 1 to 7. Set at 4, barely colored. Set to 7? Barely colored. So it takes at least 2 tries to get toast the way you want it.\

I've complained about this one to Oster, too. I wonder what they'll send me as a replacement? I think I'll fill this one with concrete so that it can be a doorstop.
