Lots of laffs

The thing I liked best about this movie was listening to the kids laugh. The theater was full, people were enjoying the movie. It was something you don't always experience.

I'm not a real fan of kids movies but this one has a great story. The CG I can take it or leave it as long as there is a reasonable plot to keep my attention.

I'm going to buy it for my granddaughter so she can have something new to watch over and over.

Favorite Characters

The turtle. The head of the "family" who knows the importance of caring about your friends.

The President Of The Homeowners Association. An extremely uptight, self important, know-it-all, insensitive meany.

The Exterminator. When this character first shows up people are probably expecting the "Arnold" but Thomas Haden Church has a strong voice which gave the exterminator character a more authoritive yet dumb flavor.

The Opossum Father. William Shatner. The over-actors over-actor. It was a nice touch to have William Shatner play the part. His voice and body language played out by an animated figure. Too funny.
