Must Have for Palm Users

I'm a busy mom and relied all the time on my cell phone and palm pilot.  With fewer hands, than kids and accessories, I really needed to consolidate without giving up any of the convenience or features I was used to.  I also didn't want to switch to something brand new and spend hours at data re-entry! This phone is the perfect answer!  It has all the capabilities, and then some, of my cell phone and my palm pilot.  It hooks up to my computer and hot syncs just like my old palm - seamless!  The keypad is 'qwerty' - much easier for texting than traditional number buttons.   The biggest difference that I notice is entering info into palm via the keypad instead of with the palm pen.  The phone does come with a pen and touch screen but the alphabet doesn't pop up as it did on the palm pilot.  The phone has full internet capability but will cost around $50.00/month to use it.  It's possible that as of 11/1/08 that is a mandatory charge for all palm centro phones.  I bought mine in October and didn't have to sign up for the additional charge, although I am considering that for full email and internet access.  I love the quick buttons and have everything I use most right at my fingertips.  I'd say it took me less than a day to get fully used to all the new features and finding all the old ones.  Probably the only negative thing I have to say is that it is harder to quick dial phone numbers using the keyboard versus the traditional phone keypad; goes with the territory I guess. The camera and camcorder are pretty good quality as far as cell phones go and the "ipod" capabilities are perfect for me, as I don't use an Ipod.  Overall I am so happy I found this and switched!
