Died After Warranty Expired

This recorder worked great for a year. Then after a year it didn't recognize discs anymore. Then it started destroying discs during formatting. The discs were so damaged they would lock up Windows if you put them in your DVD drive. These recorders were designed to only last a year. What a disappointment. Panasonic once stood for quality. Looks like Panasonic fell into the junk category. I would avoid Panasonic and try another brand. Panasonic will have to find out the hard way that if you screw the consumers it will only hurt you in the long run.
