Might be perfect if you don't grow too thick
Pros:
Unbelievably close shave, best battery life I've seen
Cons:
Loud, useless on long stubble and neck
The Bottom Line:
If you don't have thick stubble on your neck, this is an awsome shaver!

Author's Review
I'd like to start by qualifying myself for this review. I've been shaving since I was about 16 years old. I grow a very thick, very heavy beard and I do it quickly. I'm one of those guys that looks like I have 5 o'clock shadow right after I shave. I've used most manual blades on the market as well as electrics from Panasonic, Braun and Norelco.
After my old trusty Norelco's battery finally died, I needed to find a new shaver. I went though several trying to find a worthy replacement for my old friend and this review will describe my experience with the Panasonic ES8077S.
This has got to be the closet shave I've ever had. I mean that! Sure it takes a little pressure but when dry shaving, this thing cuts closer than a traditional razor. I couldn't believe it. It also has the best battery and charging system of any razor I've used. I couldn't believe how many shaves I was getting out of one charge.
Despite these great qualities though, the Panasonic was not the razor for me. For all of its close-cutting wonder, it was useless on longer whiskers and on non-flat surfaces like my neck. It's also very loud, which I could have tolerated if it was more effective on my neck and longer stubble. Also, despite being a wet/dry shaver, using it wet diminished its shaving ability.
I'm not biased though. I can honestly say that if you don't grow insanely thick stubble and don't have to shave your neck, this shaver is a total winner. Once Panasonic gets this shaver to be more effective on the neck, I'll be the first to buy one.
