The Bottom Line: Wouldn't recommend this at all
We purchased this machine today and tried to set it up. The paper kept jamming and even when the paper wasn't jammed, it still read it was and you couldn't do anything. I unplugged the machine in an attempt to reset it. No luck, so I called Panasonic Tech Support who advised me to try and do the same thing I had already tried. I did it again with no luck. Then I was told I needed to clean the machine with alcohol and a Q-Tip. I told the Tech that I did not want to do this to a new machine we had just purchased 2 hours ago as it could void any warranty. She asked me to unplug it again which I did. This time everything seemed to be okay. She then asked me to try to fax something which I did with no problem but when the transmission receipt printed, it caused a paper jam. I had to lift the cover and release 2 levers to clear the paper. I was then told that this machine probably had a defect and she offered to send me a rebuilt one! If I had wanted a rebuilt one, that's what I would have purchased.
I called the store that we purchased it from and they graciously took it back. We purchased another machine but did not replace it with a Panasonic. Perhaps they should take a look at their Customer and Tech Support divisions. After being treated like this, I won't even look at another Panasonic product.
