Only one major flaw

I bought this alarm clock online through ebay because I was looking for a cd/alarm clock combo that had a space saving design. This one seemed to fit the bill perfectly. It has a very slim design and is fairly easy to operate. The sound quality is great, it has an attractive design, three seperate alarm settings for people, like myself, who find it hard to wake up in the mornings, and a large LCD display which makes it easy to tell what time it is from any part of the room. In fact, there is only one major drawback: it's too darn bright. The LCD display, even on it's lowest setting, can easily outshine any child's nightlight. I can just about read by it...which makes it very inconvenient to try and get some sleep, unless you're afraid of the dark. As a result, I've had to buy one of those nighttime blindfold masks to use, not on myself, but on the alarm clock. It fits nicely around the top of the alarm clock, and while I am sacrificing the ability to tell the time, at least I'm getting a good night's sleep.
