Awesome DEAL

I'm a fanatic of sound quality. Being unable to have enought money to buy a separate amp, speakers and head unit, I had try every mix of good quality speakers with different cd player with amplifier. I have to say that pioneer and kenwood was the two best performing one's that I've try. But i decided to go with pioneer because of the flashy look of the head unit and also the good EQ control.

I've find that the unit must have very good quality speakers, minimum 140 watts I must say. Even if the amp claim 4X 45 watts, be sure that a good quality speaker like kenwood or alpine wont be able to punch enought if you take the less than this power handling.

The alarm is a nice feature, you can hook it to your door signal easily and it will make a beep in your car by your speakers if someone enter. There's also a small flashing light on your head unit that you can activate even if you don't have the alarm installed. You can do everything with this alarm, even hook it to your light or a external alarm or any other kind of sensor.

I have the cd for about 3 1/2 years now and change it's place 3 times ( 3 cars...) and the only thing that go wrong it's the sensor that detect when a cd is inserted, I now need to push the eject button before putting my cd in.

One last advice, only use big wire for this amp because it's take a lot of power !!! The mosfet power supply 4X45 is very powerful and you'll ear the difference !

The same comment apply to the new 2001 and 2002 units, but they are more tricky to use.... I prefer mine !
