Truly, the best movie I have ever known

Review: The BBC's 1995 version of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is truly the best adaptation I have seen of the novel.

The actors are dressed lavishly in true period clothing; from food to dance, the movie speaks of Regency England.

Jane Austin's vision

The Bottom Line: If you like romance and a happy ending and have a Saturday afternoon to spend, WATCH IT. It'll restore that yearning for a prince charming.
Review: If there were images going through your mind when you read Pride and Prejudice, these were them. Wonderful for those who've read the book and just as good for those who haven't. The movie follows the book almost to the letter.
