Princess Bride

My whole family loves this movie so much because it is pure fairy tale quality and fun. The lines in it are classic and we have all memorized almost the whole dialog. The characters are fun, vivid, colorful and memorable. It's your typical fairy tale hero/villain/heroine being rescued story, but done in a funny, nonsensical way. "Columbo" as the grandpa telling the story is great. Carey Ewes plays "farm boy, dreaded pirate Robert, hero and lover" so well, so believable. We recommend this escape movie to any age.
