This game rocks!

This Christmas my girlfriend bought me Quake II. This is probably one of the most intense games I've ever played. The graphics are really good and the puzzles are somewhat challenging. The gore factor is way up there to. If you soot of a guards head he'll have an involuntary reflex action and fire off some more rounds before he dies. It's really neat. The controls were a little difficult to handle at first because I've been used to the Doom controls but after a little bit you get used to it and in the end is probably a better system. You use the analog button to control your sights while using either the c or d pad to move and the z button to fire. Straffing is easy this way because you don't have to bother with the l and r buttons, like in Duke Nukem where you need a third hand.

The multiplayer combat is the best function on this game. You can use up to four players and play four different frag games. If you love blowin sh*t up then you'll enjoy this option of the game. It's great to play during halftime of a football party or at any other time for that matter. Play this game for some fun action.
