An excellent little bump machine!

The Bottom Line: This is a great amp for the price. If you want to get performance but don't want to pay a fortune this is the way to go.
This right here is a terrific little amp from RockfordFosgate. When I was learning how to do car audio, teaching myself from the ground up, this was the second amplifier I got. This amplifier is what influenced me to now upgrade to a completely RockfordFosgate system.
I had it hooked up to 2 15" no name Subwoofers running at 2 Ohms each channel. The unit says it puts out approx. 400 Watts RMS or continuous power (whatever they're calling it these days), but I suspect it was probably a bit more than that. Note: Rockford rates all of their amplifiers at their RMS power, not overrated Peak Power or Max as some others do. I also had two 6x9 Audiobahn speakers hooked up to it that I had floating around my back seat for a while. I later put an end to that because of how shotty it looked, but they sounded amazing.
For a two channel amp it's actually fairly versatile. Great for powering 2 inexpensive subs or if you've got a small car and don't mind losing fade, you could run your whole system with this and really bring out your high and midrange sound much better than any head unit would.
This amp also comes with a bass boost feature with an adjustment knob that you can mount up front in or on your dashboard for a cool custom look (or so your friends can play around with it bringing the bass from a soft hum to a pounding thump).
Keep in mind this is one of RockfordFosgate's less expensive car amplifiers, but nothing they make is low end or low quality. You'll get amazing bang for your buck and is excellent for any novice audio application or basic upgrade from the ordinary.
