If you are in the mood for spending your evening with sore ribs from laughing too much, SNL's DVD The Best of Will Ferrell should be in your hands. This talented actor who is no longer gracing the Saturday Night Casting team with his remarkable presence is available to watch and replay for years with this DVD release.

The DVD includes some of Ferrell's most memorable skits, the Spartan Cheerleaders, Night at the Roxbury with guest Jim Carrey, Harry Carey, Celebrity Jeopard as host Alex Trebek, and Ferrell's uncanny impression of president George W. Bush. The scenes in all number out to be around one dozen skits which can be watched all at once or use the DVD menu to select just one scene at a time.

Besides Will Ferrell's hilarious parodies, the viewer has a Special Features menu option where outtakes, TV interview spots, and even Will's original SNL audition can be viewed. A rare and unseen dress rehearsal skit can also be accessed on the Special Features section of this DVD's interactive menu.

Any comedy lover or fan of Saturday Night Live as a whole would be entertained for hours with this DVD. It has a great replay value and is also a spectacular feature to watch with family and friends. Besides the successful comedic performances of Will Ferrell, some incredible guest stars appear on this disc as well, such as Christopher Walken, Drew Barrymore, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Jeff Goldblum just to name a few.

Will Ferrell truly delivers in this newly released compilation from Lion's Gate Home Entertainment. I rate this DVD excellent (the video gets a 9/10, audio an 8/10, and the extras weigh in at 8/10 as well).
