Hitting the Highlights

There was a time when I read nothing much on the subject of science but Science News. I had a subscription, spent 20 or 30 minutes a week reading it, and ended up knowing a little about a lot of things. Science News hits the highlights from several disciplines--medicine, biology, geology, anthropology, astronomy, etc.--with well written stories of a column or so each, as well as a longer feature. Although my reading preferences have changed to some things in depth and others little or none, I will still find something of interest in an issue of Science News. If you have little time to read, but still want to keep up with the advances in science with information that is both readable and reliable, Science News is for you. Read it and you will never be at a loss for something to say at a cocktail party.
