Scrabble Complete For Windows is a great game for adults, kids, or the whole family. It is a pc version of the classic Scrabble game.

If you want to play it alone just don't click add a computer or human player in the player set up screen. Just simply click play and that will take you to the game play screen.

The hot seat play is when all players play on the same computer. You can play the hot seat play with human and computer players at the same time. Just make sure all player that are human are all logged in in the log in screen.

In the player set up screen you can add or delete players both human and computer. Just access the game preference menu, go back to th log in screen, or just start a game with the players who are already logged in. Just click play.

If playing against Maven " the computer " all human players must log in. To log in Maven click on add computer player, from the player set up screen. Then select Maven's skill level. If you click custom you can choose the skill level. The skill level ranges from 900 being the easiest to 2100 being the hardest. Repeat the above steps for any other player you want to add into the game.

You can also play modem to modem which I have not done yet. But I would rather play this way instead of online. To do that you have to set up a host, name, have the game already registered.. and so on. MSN Gaming Zone is the main place for online scrabble play.

Player 1 always goes first. Each player gets seven tiles to use. in his / her letter rack. Player 1 combines two or more letter tiles to make a word. The word has to read either across or down. On subsequent turns, each player adds one or more letters to those words that are already played. A player completes a turn by adding together the letter value of all new words formed on that turn. The player then draws as many new letters as they used on the last turn they took.

A player may use up a turn to exchange letters if they can not come up with a word on that turn. You can return up to all seven of your tiles for new ones but will have to skip that turn and can not play a word that turn. A player can even challenge another players word if they think it is not a real word or is not in the dictionary. You can do this in any game. But you can not do this in a game with Maven.

The game ends when all of the letters are drawn and no other moves can be made. The one with the most points at the end of the game is the winner and the game will hold your best and worst point status under your log in name.

All in all the Scrabble Complete For Windows is great. It is made for windows 95-98 but we have xp and I am still able to play perfectly. So everyone is able to play it.

Here is what you need to do to install the Scrabble Complete For Windows game:

1.Start Windows

2. Insert the Scrabble cd rom into the cd rom drive

3. If auto play is enabled, a title screen should appear. Click on the install button. If auto play in not enabled click on my computer on the desk top. Next, double click on your cd rom icon to install the game. If the install screen still does not show at this point, locate the setup.exe file on the scrabble cd rom and double click it.

4. Follow the remainder of the on screen instructions to finish installing scrabble.

5. Once installation is complete, click on the start button st the bottom of the screen, and choose programs - Habro Interactive - Scrabble v2.0 - Play scrabble to start the game.

After that your set to have fun playing Scrabble. You can even create your own dictionary of words to add to the game.

The looks of the game are pretty good. It is all 3d so it looks like your really sitting in front of the real game. The colors are deep in depth and they are vibrant. There is nothing better then playing a great game that also looks great.

I have always liked playing scrabble. This is a fun way to play it and you don't have all those tiles to clean up when your done. You are allowed to use any words which means it would be easy for a kids to play against computer player and still use easy words so they can will as easily as an adult could.

I got this game from my boyfriend for Christmas this past year. He paid 9.99 for it at K-mart. I found that to be a fair price. I picked it out myself so we would have something nice that the kids can play with us.
