Purchased for a specific trip and it took good point and shoot quality pictures on land as well as in the water. Note: that was in the water, not underwater. Without an external flash you need a bright day and clear water. ( Normally I shoot a Canon 1d Mark III so almost any camera would fail in comparison) I found the buttons a little confusing at first but became familiar quickly. Eats batteries so use the e2's for better life.

Lent the camera to a friend for a trip and it was returned unusable due an inoperative flash. Never did find out what really happened. Customer service was better than great. They sent a whole new camera, no questions asked. I was as amazed as I was pleased
