I was going to get a Miele but went to the store and did a compare - there is NO comparison whatsoever. This vacuum ROCKS! As mentioned in the “PROS”, one of the best features is that the roller comes out – I’ve never seen that before. Having 2 cats (long-hair Himalayans), this was a lifesaver! I can take the roller out frequently and clean the roller from cat fur, hair, etc., with ease, as all it takes is a push of a button, twist of the end and out it comes.
In addition to that, in comparing with the Miele, even the wand is twice as long than the Miele and the bristles on the brush and parquet attachment is softer so it won't scratch. If you’re not convinced yet, various parts are easily replaced as opposed to the Miele where you would have to take the whole (as an example) main tube and have that replaced even for a wire defect. The Sebo comes in good sections so you only, as in this case, have to get the wire replaced.
Another plus, the lower end of the telescopic tube on the Sebo is metal – the store I went to, the Miele is plastic and has been broken. That’s where the most pressure is so not sure why Miele made that plastic…
Also, the warranty is awesome, tube longer, so quiet the cats didn't even run away - better for the price than Miele - need I say more... I can't say enough about this vacuum.
