Sennheiser HD 280 Professional Headphones

When I first received these cans I put them on, after using my Sennheiser 497s and I was disappointed. They just didn't compare to the 497s but I kept reading about having to break them in for at least 30 or 40 hours so I left them playing for about 30 hours and now they sound much better. They do lack the heavy bass but they sound great and don't take a lot to power them. Although, if I didn't care about keeping the sound in, I would choose the Sennheiser 497s over these any day. They are quite a bit cheaper and sound great. I mainly purchased these cans for portability and to use with my notebook computer.
