Great Picture - Terrible Service

The Bottom Line: If it were not for Sharp's bad service this would be a great deal. Now I know to ask before I buy, just what does the warranty REALLY cover?

Good Pros, terrible cons

The Bottom Line: I won't not buy this again and after dealing with Sharp, won't buy Sharp products again.
Review: I had this projector for $900 about 2 years. My first thoughts of this projector were amazing. I could not believe that I could get a 120 inch picture in HD on my wall. Even just showing the movies on a white wall inside was impressive.

Good for Office Use

Review: I have only had my Sharp XR-10X projector for about 2 months. We use it a couple times a week for about one or two hours at a time. I am using it as a projector for mainly powerpoint presentations, not for movies or multimedia.

Review: After using the projector for less than 150 hours over 8 months in a normal home environment the lamp failed to light. This is totally unacceptable and probably due to bad cooling engineering. I have since found other complaints regarding lamp life...
