Cons:
Screws need to be tightened every few months.
The Bottom Line:
If you think you might like it, get it. We had no problems that made us think twice about it.

Our son is now 3 years old. He did really well in this crib. He slept in it until we had our second child. She has been sleeping in it since she was two months old.
The best part is that he couldn't climb out of it for a long while. The trick is that one side is slightly higher than the other. When the time came, we will just turned the crib around so the taller side faced the center of the room, and the shorter side was against the wall. Just knowing that he was secure in his crib made me sleep better at night. (He since started to climb out of it - when he was about 2 & 1/2 - we switched it to the toddler bed. It was incredibly easy to follow the directions for this and he made the switch without any complaints. We didn't even have to get any new bedding because it's the same bed. Once we had our daughter, he moved to a twin bed and the toddler bed easily went back to the crib. We even moved to a new town and it weathered the move better than some of our nicer furniture because it came apart.)
Another nice aspect is that the crib is light enough for one person to move. I can lift the crib and store clothes under the mattress supports in a low-profile tote. Thus saving valuable room. It is also nice while changing sheets.
One thing that took me by surprise was how one has to take off the bumper in order to change the sheets (obviously it won't be a problem once the bumper is no longer necessary). Leaving on the bumper while taking off the fitted sheet creates an opportunity for the ties to break. It happened to us. Easy fix if sewing is an acquired skill. This is a complaint/issue with any type of crib with nonuniform corner posts. Take that into account when you look at any crib.
After all is said and done, I really do like this crib. It is easy to change from crib to bed. It is also less expensive. It really was a good deal! The directions don't really help though; the writers need to look into that.
