The pricey crib that should last.

We bought this crib for our first baby with the thought that we can use it for him until he's out of the house. We bought it online based on its reviews and looks. My husband quickly and easily set the crib up. It is quite a large crib, but is very elegant and beautiful. I didn't think of this before we bought it, but because of the sleigh headboard it must go up against the wall, instead of being able to stick out from the wall, which does take up a lot of space in the nursery! The crib is very sturdy and the mattress fits in it well. Our mobile unfortunately does not clip onto the crib because the railing is too thick for the mobile base, so we had to be creative and hang it from the ceiling. The only other aspect about the crib I never realized until we had it is that because the front of the crib goes all the way to the floor you really lose a lot of storage space underneath! You can push a pack of diapers sideways under the bed from the side, but it's not convenient for storage. We have not purchased any other pieces that match the crib due to cost but do plan on making those purchases in the future.
