A sewing machine that works well

I have been wanting to buy a sewing machine for a very long time because my goal is to sew a quilt.  I finally gave in after several years and purchased this one because I was able to get a good deal on it.

I was excited to use the machine and purchased a little mini blanket/quilt kit from a local yardage store.  The machine was easy to use.  Even threading the thread into the machine was simple and there are pictures on the machine that are numbered AND the direction book explains it quiet well.  I remember this being the hardest part of using a machine years ago.

The machine has a variety of stiching patterns and all you need to do is press a button to use a different one.  I hemmed up the ends of my curtains and used a flower stitch - it looked great.

I finished that mini-quilt kit and it turned out great.

I hemmed a few pairs of pants and everything went off without a hitch.

The machine isn't too heavy and has a couple little storange compartments to keep the extra pieces, spools, and needles. 

The machine isn't too loud either. 

Unfortunately it's been put into a closet and I still haven't made that quilt I want to make - not because of the machine but because I haven't purchased any material.
