Don't Buy This Machine

I bought this machine in hopes of receiving a quality sewing/embroidery machine without spending thousands of dollars. It seemed like a dream to find this Singer for such a great price. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a nightmare. I used the first CE-200 that I received for only about 7 hours of total sewing and embroidery time before it started making a grinding sound under the needleplate, and it ruined the project on which I was working. I never got it to work again. The wonderful company I purchased it from sent me a new CE-200 to replace the first and let me know that this was an updated version of this machine and that the defect which caused my original problem had been redesigned. To my disappointment, after only sewing on the second machine about 2 hours it succumbed to the same fate as the first. The cooperative company we purchased the machine from refunded my money and I am now the proud owner of a Janome Memory Craft 9500. I spent more on this model, but it was WELL worth it. If you are looking for a reliable sewing/embroidering machine please look elsewhere.
