Inexpensive - not so great

I bought this for my mother for mother's day. I'm glad I tested it first. The image quality is unreasonable. Pictures are treasured images but this makes the images jaggad, blurry, and distorted. The speed the images change is too fast (2-3 seconds?) and cannot be changed.

I'm comparing this to a Phillips 7" frame that I've had for a while. The image quality is considerably better and there are 3 different speeds for the slide show.

I'm headed to the store to return this frame and spend an extra $25 to get a Phillips. I'm sure my mom will appreciate it.
