Great Movie!

Snow White is a character from "Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs" (originally Schneewittchen or Schneeweissen), one of the folk tales collected and published by the Brothers Grimm in the early 19th century.
Snow White is a Disney production movie that is animated with such cute spunk and personality that anybody would love this classic movie.

I first watched this movie at a sleepover with some of my friends when we were 16, and I know that's a little old, but we absolutely loved it. We all even cried at the end, so if you think this is only for little kids then you're wrong. This movie is definitely good for anybody. Even for a date night with your spouse, it would be a blast to watch this cute movie.

In this story, Snow White is a king's daughter who is naturally very fair and beautiful. Her beauty makes her step-mother jealous to the point of murder. The queen soon asks her mirror "who is the fairest in the land". The mirror replies that Snow White is. The step-mother is furious. She wants Snow White dead, so she hires a hunstman to retrieve her in the woods and not come back until she has her heart.

This part of the story really got to me when I was little. I used to think that this was such a scary movie because I knew that those were the queens motives, but of course, being a Disney movie, nothing bad happens, so if you have children that want to watch this movie, then don't worry because there's nothing bad.

Next, Snow White escapes the evil hunstman and finds a little house with little beds, and everything is little. I always used to think what would I do if I found a little house like that. Would I snoop around like she does or would I hurry and leaven before anyone gets home. Well, you can tell that Snow White is not a shy girl. She ends up looking all around the house of the dwarfs, going through cupboards, dishes and about everything else.

She soon finds out that this is the home of seven little dwarfs by the names of: doc, dopey, sleepy, sneezy, happy, grumpy, and bashful. Snow White soon gets to know these little dwarfs and becomes really good friends with them, and of course the little dwarfs love having a mother around to clean up after them and make them good food, all except for grumpy who takes time to come to love Snow White.

Personally, my favorite character was grumpy just because he was different. All the other dwarfs are cute and do everything they're told to, but grumpy is just the opposite, which makes him very funny to watch. He is definitely the rebel of the group, or family as you might say.

Next, the evil queen is still anxious to kill Snow White. She is willing to do anything. She obviously won't give up no matter what stands in her way. Just like all step-mothers seem to be, the evil queen is not going to give up her goal. Snow White is visited by the queen who is disguised as a witch looking woman. The queen tries to poison Snow White with a red apple that looks very enticing. Snow White, being alone, takes the apple without hesitation and slips a bight into her mouth. Who wouldn't take a bight of a delicious, HEALTHY apple?

This part of the story upset me very much. I just wanted to yell at Snow White and tell her not to eat the apple. You can probably guess what happens next.
Snow White dies and the dwarfs find out. They are all extremely sad and depressed. They miss her so very badly, especially grumpy. They loved having a mother around to feed, clean them, and clean after them, but most of all they just loved her company and sweet personality.

The dwarfs stick Snow White in a glass coffin and have a memorial for her. Some time later Snow White is kissed by a handsome prince and comes back to life. Snow White falls in love with her prince and they are going to be married.

I like this part the very best. I have to admit that the first time I watched this movie I cried when Snow White came back to life. I was so happy! I really thought that the movie would end unhappy for some reason, and I couldn't except that, and I knew Disney couldn't either. So I have to say that I was very happy that the movie ended the way it did.

The animation in this movie is awesome. Even though it was one of Walt Disney's very first movies, the animation goes a long ways. It has a little bit of old color, but really has great picture. You might notice that some of the scenes seem a little dull in color, but that makes it all the better. The picture is almost in an old fashioned style. I love it!

Also, the music in Snow White is amazing. I really can't even find music that good today. "Whiste While you Work" is definitely a classic song. Also, "Hi-Ho", now you just can't beat that song. Who sounds better than seven little dwarfs singing?

I especially love Dopey's voice in this movie. It is one of a kind. Played by Eddie Collins. It is hilarious. I don't know how he makes all those sounds that Dopey makes. Believe me they are very unique.

In conclusion, this movie is such a great family movie. I love watching it with all of my friends at sleepovers, and with my family when we are eating popcorn and drinking eggnog. It is great for any occasion and such a good, fun-loving movie.
