Great Buy..............but there are problems!!!

This is about my 5th Sony product recently, and I am disappointed at what I am getting from them these days.  Now, I'm not saying all BDP-S350s are like this but, mine has trouble reading standard DVD movies.  Sometimes it doesn't even read the DVD I put in it.  Plus, they state a 6 second start up.  What a Croc!  I've upgraded the firmware once (per their instructions) and I think things have gotten worse. A good example of what is happening is; just last night I put in the standard DVD Ironman movie.  It took forever to get to the main menu, then it locked up about 15 minutes in to the movie.  I had to actually shut the player off to get the disc out.  Then started it over again and it worked fine.  I went with Sony this time thinking they might be ahead of the curve on this technology.  But, I'm thinking the product was put out too early.  There's already another Firmware update, which I haven't done yet.
