Nice Camera, a bit pricey though.

The Bottom Line: This camera is a good camera for those who want a compact camera that is easy to use. Great picture quality although the price is a little high.
I bought this Sony Cybershot DSC-100 camera several months ago and so far I really like it. I debated on spending so much money on such a small camera, I did find several other brands that were a bit cheaper but decided to go with the Cybershot. I have always liked Sony products and this camera lives up to the great Sony name and standard.
The pictures come out very crisp and clear and the screen displays a clear view of whatever you may be trying to capture. The auto focus works great and adjusts to new points of interest quickly. The recovery time between snapping pictures is quick making it great for multiple shots. The camerea also works well with moving subjects making it great for sporting events also.
The camera is fairly easy to use although I am not sure how well it is going to hold up, I'm not crazy about the way you open and close the viewer, it kind of feels like it might not hold up so well. So far everything is still holding up though but again I have only had it for several months. The camera is extremely compact yet still has many features of the larger cameras however it does not have a optical view finder, although most people don't use them anyways but I always liked the idea of having the option of having the optical viewfinder just in case the LCD screen has a problem. Another small problem is that the buttons are a bit small for those with big fingers, this doesn't cause a problem for myself or my teenage children but my husband has a hard time.
Overall the camera is great if you prefer a compact camera, hopefully the price will come down eventually as I do find it a bit expensive.
