Don't buy this boombox!

Pros: Attractive, nice sound, cool blue light

Cons: Quit working right after warranty ran out.

We bought the Sony CFD - F10 for our son to listen to cds while he drums. He was very happy with it, he really liked the remote control. However, 14 months later, the cd function stopped working. The box never moved, was never dropped, nothing. After following the help menus on Sony's site to no avail, I "chatted" with a Sony rep. She only told me what the site told me, oh, and they are happy to replace it with a refurbished box for $7 less than a new one would cost, or repair it for $10 more than a new one.
