Software bait and switch

Received this Sony DVD burner as a gift. It "includes" Nero DVD authoring/burning software. Aside from an infantile interface, Nero offers only the most basic options. More importantly, it constantly nudges you to buy the "upgrade" -- which is, of course, software that should have been included with the "free" software.

More importantly, the "free" Nero software expires in 30 days, so you're left with a useless box.

My comments to Sony received no acknowledgement or reply.

This is a NO BUY.
