The Bottom Line: Watch it, its good
Spiderman 3 although very dramatic instead of action oriented was still a good ending to a trilogy, that everyone loved similar to Lord of the Rings in terms of the ending, it was a complete ending. There were no questions to answer after the movie ended. Personally I hoped this wouldnt be the last movie and I was slightly sad that James Franco's character, Harry Osborn died. Overall though the movie dragged on too long and there could have been more action scenes in place of the slightly wierd show-off scenes with Tobby Mcquire's character, Peter Parker, aka Spiderman.
The things I loved about this movie was that there was a terrific plot, the story was pretty well developed based on Spiderman 1 & 2 which ushered in the newest character, Flint Marko aka the Sandman and the New Goblin. The flashbacks to Ben Parker's murder were well used although they could have been much more dramatic since it is in fact an action movie. The fight between the New Goblin and Peter Parker is epic. Its interesting that Harry Osborn loses his short term memory after being struck in the head after a fall. It doesnt make the movie more interesting though that one of Spiderman's new enemies temporarily becomes a friend.
Well there isnt a lot to hate about the movie. The show off scenes in the movie with Peter Parker are annoying and unentertaining. Hence causing a brief reason not to want to watch the movie. The relationship with Mary Jane Watson has been milked dry and during this movie it no longer seems like a great or even a good thing. Their scenes together are weak and uncomfortable. It could be that they both hit the ceiling of their acting abilities. The movie was also kind of long but generally entertaining enough to watch from beginning to end.
