The Bottom Line: Subaru offers the highest value I have seen so far. The Forester represents my first Subaru purchase. I suspect it will not be my last.

Review: Purchased the 2002 Subaru Forester after test driving the Toyota Highlander, Mazda Tribute, and Isuzu Axiom. I have to say the Axiom and Highlander gave a slightly better ride, but overall the Forester soundly beat the competition in the factors...

The Bottom Line: The Forester is a relatively inexpensive, high quality, small SUV, with great gas mileage, excellent visibility, superb handling and a top of the line safety rating. You will love it.
