I love this car!

I traded my old Subaru wagon for this sedan, buying it new. I've had it 1 1/2 years now and it has been a fantastic vehicle in all respects. Yes, I live in snow country, and yes, the great handling on the road is a major factor for me. But this car is also incredible for beautiful styling, total dependability--it is all-around a fine vehicle. I'm not someone who usually gets hyped over my vehicle, but it was really fun to get this car and see people's reactions. I literally was stopped in parking lots by people who wanted to know what my car was. Even my snobby Audi friend admires it--as long as he doesn't have to ride in the back seat. That space is a little cramped.

This is my second Subaru and here's why I am committed to Subaru. There was a recall about four months after I bought this Legacy because airbags were possibly not folded properly. The dealer took care of it quickly and of course at no charge. But I got a phone call from the Subaru headquarters afterward, apologizing for causing me inconvenience. If that wasn't enough, they gave me a gift check of $200 to LLBean as an additional apology. Wow! I thought that was beyond what was necessary but with that thoughtful and generous gesture, Subaru gained a customer for life.
