Good value for the price

I recently acquired this TI scientific calculator after my very sturdy and reliable Casio one got smashed in my backpack. Sad times.

Upon arriving at Office Depot to purchase this item, I noticed that there were a lot of calculators to choose from and they were all similarly priced. My old calculator had a nice display screen on the top, so I specifically looked for that feature. It's really handy to be able to see the formula that you typed in so that you can check your work for later. As a result, I was down to a TI and a Sharp calculator. I had heard good things about TI, so I decided to give it a try.

Upon opening the package, I was glad to see that the buttons were a good size for my fingers and easy to type with. Also, the display screen was clear and a good size. One thing, however, that I did not like was that the cover was a strange shape and I couldn't get it to quite fit correctly without snapping it into place. That was a bit confusing. Otherwise, it's great!

I've been happy with my calculator, and it is great for everyday tasks where you don't need a graphing calculator. It's advantages are that it's compact, easy to use, and has lots of functions. I like it!
