Toshiba 30HF84--Behold it's beauty! Updated 11/14/04

The Bottom Line: Make sure to purchase from a place with an easy return policy as early sets have geometry problems. Find a newer set and bask in it's greatness!

Do I Feel Lucky??

The Bottom Line: Do not buy from Amazon, no product support. Do not buy Toshiba, customer service unsatisfactory.
Review: Ordering this TV from Amazon is a risky venture. The Toshiba model has a spotty reliability history. Amazon will not accept returns or assist in resolving problems. Toshiba is uncooperative in fixing any defects.

terrible TV and even worse customer service

The Bottom Line: avoid this TV at all costs and avoid Toshiba at all costs.
Review: I recently purchased a Toshiba
30HF84 HD-ready TV at $716.99 from amazon.com and from the very first day I
received it, I found this TV has serious quality issues. To summarize,
the geometry is so inaccurate none of the vertical lines...

30HF84 WAS great but replacement 30HF85C not so

The Bottom Line: As the review states, find a properly working one and you're GOLDEN. Service could be tricky to get.
Review: We purchased the Toshiba 30HF84 model right in the New Year after watching the TV market for about a year with constant trips to stores to compare picture quality and web surfing to compare features instead of listening to salivating sales people...
