Really awesome pack!

We purchased this piece of equipment to allow us to resume our hiking days. We had a Snugli pack before and it was fine while our daughter was tiny, but she wasn't tiny for long. After about 5 months, she was too heavy for it, or maybe I should say for me. I wanted to be able to take longer hikes or walks in town.

I found our Stallion at a consignment shop for $65. I was incredibly excited to find it for such a steal and in impeccable condition.

I've found it really easy to adjust to my fit and to use. I'm able to strap my daughter in and lift the pack easily up onto my back. (She's just a little over 20 pounds right now.) I'm amazed at how comfortable the pack rides, even after 4 or 5 miles of hilly walking. Also, my husband is one foot taller than me, and he can use it comfortably too. I really like the harness provided for the child, too. It keeps her snug in the pack. The kickstand works well, too, and is easy to pull in when you put the pack on.

My daughter is so funny in it. Once I get her strapped in and up onto my back, she gets so excited and jumps up and down.

I take a mirror with me on solitary walks so that I can see how she's doing back there. She is either curiously checking out her surroundings or snoozing away.

I got this used, so it seems to be a product that holds up well. I'm planning to use it for a long time, so I'll have to update my opinion in a little while.
