Chicks Dig It!

Date of Review:  Jul 24, 2001
The Bottom Line: For a young person looking to have a fun, sporty, and reliable car
Review: This car is great. I am so glad I bought a Toyota. This is the best car I have ever owned. I recently graduated from college and was looking for something fun and sporty. My sister is looking into buying one too when she get out of college. I looked...

Love this car

Date of Review:  Sep 29, 2006
Review: I have the GTS, automatic with the sport shift feature. The car handles great, looks great and the interior is made so that everything is within easy reach. The sportshift/overdrive feature is just gravy on top.

The Bottom Line: I highly recommend this car - if I have any problems I'll be sure to edit my Epinion to keep you "in the know" - Happy driving!!
Review: I bought this car with 7,000 miles on it. 4,000 miles later, it has been trouble free and I am very happy with with the car and my Toyota experience in general. I have the GT - automatic - with CD player, spoiler and sunroof. Great sound system,...

Toyota Celica Hits Stride

Date of Review:  Nov 30, 2001
The Bottom Line: If you have a desire for a fast car and low price tag, go for it.
Review: The new vvtli engine in the 2001 Celica GTS creates 180 horses of pure power. The new engine combined with the 6 speed maunual transmission (available in the GTS model) makes for quick launches and a respectable top speed. The new aggressive styling...

European Convert

Date of Review:  Jun 26, 2001
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for an economical, affordable car that looks great, drives great and will be reliable to a fault, the Celica should probably be your choice.
Review: I recently purchased my 2001 Celica and am extremely happy with my choice. The car's performance certainly exceeds my expectations overall. It handles very well and what's not to like about 35 mpg on the highway? I took a 400 mile round trip shortly...

2001 Silver Celica GT (Canada)

Date of Review:  Jul 22, 2001
The Bottom Line: A sharp car which will draw attention anywhere you go. Sporty, well-built and comfortable. However, competitors' are offering cars which closely match/beat the features at this price point.
Review: I bought the Toyota Celica in May 2001. At the time, I managed to get an amazing 3.7% financing rate and $1400 cdn off the invoice price of the car.

What attracted me to this model is the same thing that has me smiling when I drive it...

Funky car, but better choices out there

Date of Review:  Sep 7, 2001
The Bottom Line: The Celica just got passed by Acura and VW in the small car sport category, on power alone. But this car remains a stylish choice.
Review: I purchased the 2001 Celica GT in June, 2001, after driving a '98 Corolla and, previously, a '91 Corolla. As expected, the Toyota engineering is flawless. The car is tightly designed and nothing rattles. The cornering is very flat for a car of this...

Not Reliable

Date of Review:  Jan 16, 2007
Review: I bought the 2001 Toyota Celica GT as a Certified Toyota Vehicle at 43K miles. I drive a considerable amount of highway miles and chose the car because of Toyota's reputation for reliability. At 80K, the catalytic converter failed and was replaced...

A great compromise that isn't much of one!

Date of Review:  Mar 29, 2002
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for an economical, fun-to-drive, reliable, competitively-priced sporty vehicle, you need to take a serious look at the Toyota Celica.
Review: For years (decades, actually), I have wanted a sports car. While I was helping to raise a family, that was out of the question. Now that we are "empty nesters," it became a possibility again. I read a lot of articles and test drove a number of cars...
