Product Review

Absolutely LOVE the corolla

by   bamagirl78 ,   Dec 3, 2006

Pros:  Great gas mileage, price, roomy interior, handling

Cons:  Can not having a full size spare be a CON? Can't have everything...

The Bottom Line:  Excellent car! 40 MPG under harsh driving-take offs and stops. Roomy enough for a 300 lb man(dad) to feel comfortable driving.

Overall Rating: 5/5 stars

Excellent gas mileage. I get almost 40 mpg and that is even giving it "heck". I have the Corolla S which comes with the sporty body kit and also came with 17 inch Enkei rims. I get many comments everywhere I go with people asking what kind of car is that! My X husband actually took the "corolla" off and left the S on the trunk (he said driving a corolla wasn't cool-stupid I know right).I like that with the body kit and 17 inch wheels, it actually looks lowered, yet I can still park with my tires all the way up to curb or even the YELLOW parking lot tire bumpers and not scrub my front end at all. I rarely ever have to slow down to go over humps in the road at an angle for fear of scrubbing like alot of other cars. Oh, and the corolla does NOT have the problem that the Camry does that was made the same year, of the muffler looking as though it is hanging down some. I drive A LOT and I purchased the Corolla S in May 03 and it is now Dec 06 and I have already put 99,800 miles on it and I have enjoyed every mile in my gas saving sport looking car.
