Nice monitor

We've had this monitor for probably six months now, and I still find it a great monitor. The resolution is incredible -- 1680x1050. It's very easy to work on two 8.5"x11" pages at the same time. It's also great in Photoshop as you have enough room for your tool pallets.

About the only thing that I can think of to improve this monitor would be better DVI support. If you do a search on this model type with "dvi problem" with the model model number of "vx2025", you'll read the trials and tribulations that various people have had in getting this monitor to work at it's native resolution using it's DVI interface. I was able to get the monitor to work via DVI (after a lot of wrestling, updating drivers to specific versions, unplugging and replugging (both power and interface cables) in a particular order). However, my video card only supports 1280x1024 on it's DVI interface, which isn't a problem of the monitor, just my cheesy video card.

Would I buy this monitor again? Possibly, the color output on this is incredible (I work with digital photos), but the trials and tribulations of getting it to work DVI might put a damper on my enthusiasm. If you've only got the older VGA connection (which is how this monitor is hooked up), you'll be fine and the install will take minutes.
