Owner of a New Viking!

I've ask Santa for a mixer for years now, and thought I wanted a Kitchenaid. Santa came through and told me to pick out what I wanted. After looking at multiple Kitchenaids and trying my sister's, I found a Viking 800. My husband was a cook in the Army and liked the design of the Viking too. It is incredibly well made, all stainless attachments, low center of gravity, and not as tall as the Kitchenaids. It fits in my kitchen better and just looks more like a $400 mixer should. The Kitchenaids may come in more colors, but my white is quite pretty. I didn't need the 1000 size and this one looks like it'll do most anything I'll need. I agree whole hearted with the review of the woman who's "keeping her Viking!". Me too. I'm glad I read that review and took a second look at it. I'm delighted with it. It'll probably be the last mixer I'll ever need.
