Author's Review
We have had the Vizio 32 inch LCD TV for about 6 months. First in our living room, and later since we upgraded to a 42 inch in that particular room, it was been moved into our family room. We purchased the Vizio unit as an upgrade to a tube television. We didn't want to spend alot on our first LCD Screen TV as we don't have alot of money for pleasure purchases and as this was a want, not a need, that is what I would consider a LCD or Plasma television. We were pleasantly surprised at the ease of use, smaller, lightweight profile, and vivid picture. It has given us no problems whatsoever. The kids love playing video games and the screen gives bright, crisp images. The sounds it puts out works well in family room, but it would have been nice to have it hooked up to surround sound in the living room due to tall ceilings. When we purchased this TV it cost between $800 - $900. I have since seen it for sale around the $600 mark which is a great bargain in my opinion. Definitely a great price for those wanting to venture into the flat screen, new age of television. It was our first purchase with regards to Plasma and LCD's but it won't be our last. I spoke with the sales rep at Sears recently about this particular brand. He says they get very few returns on the Vizio brand...in fact, he couldn't remember one in recent history. I would gladly purchase Vizio again in the the future. A great first purchase for the budget conscious, or even those that want to make a smart TV purchase. Highly recommended.
